DOG TRAINERS and BEHAVIORISTS WANTED!
Master Dog Training is looking for positive-reinforcement
based dog trainers and canine behaviorists to work as independent contractors.
If you are an accredited, certified or formally educated dog trainer and would like to contract with Master

BASED OBEDIENCE TRAINING
If you are interested in learning
how to become a dog trainer, Master Dog Training is offering a certificate program. Our master trainer will be your mentor
and teach you the latest in positive reinforcement based dog obedience training.
Our training program is very rigorous and thorough. Do not expect to just be taught how to
make a dog "sit", lay "down", and "stay". That's easy and you can learn that playing with
your own dog, online, or in dog training books. With that, you will not be an adept dog trainer, but rather just a hobbyist.
Our program will delve deeply into dog training. You will learn about etiology, learning theory, problem solving, how to manage
classes, and how to run your own dog training business. It is invaluable information that comes from years of education, research,
and experience.
You will
be ready to address most questions a dog owner has for you! For example: "My dog gets mad at me when I leave
him home alone and pees on my bed! To address this question, there is so much you need to know. You'll learn that you
can not attribute human like characteristics or emotions to a different species - that is called anthropomorphizing and will
give you an inaccurate diagnosis. Scientific studies have show that dogs do not do things out of spite. This is not likely
a potty training issue. You will learn that some behavior problems are the result of a more complex origin. If not properly
identified and treated, such problems typically lead to the dog being given up or euthanized. If you can not determine the
function of the behavior properly because you have not been educated properly, you will be doing the dog and its owners a
dis-service and may be responsible for the dog's tragic end.
The duration of our program is 6
weeks. It consists of readings, tests, observations, supervised hands on experience, a cmoprehensive exam with
a demonstration.
There is a non-refundable tuition fee of $500.00 and there will be recommended books you should
purchase on your own. Graduating from Master Dog Training's
program does NOT guarantee we will contract with you. If
