Behavior Modification:
For dogs with problem behaviors such as social domincance, separation anxiety, phobias, and any
other severe or dangerous behaviors. This goes beyond the realm of obedience training. Most dog trainers are not
qualified in this area and if not done properly, you can be left with more problems than you starated out with. A lot
of dog trainers out there are simply copying silly tactics they see done on TV programs. Just because it's on TV doesn't
mean it is appropriate. Our master trainer is highly skilled and well trained to conduct a behavior-change plan for your
dog.
A behavior change program should fit with the caregiver’s setting
and skills. There are always several different strategies for changing problem behaviors; the best one is the one that can
be implemented effectively by the people responsible for the plan. Interventions should fit the caregiver’s routines,
values, resources, and skills. A good plan is effective in helping the animal and also results in reinforcing outcomes for
caregivers in both the short and long run. It is simply not likely the average dog owner can in-line
skate with their dog for exercise or be expected to get into a dominance fight with their dog, so we won't be teaching
or expecting you to do that! We'll show you how to do it scientifically and safely. After all, we are humans and don't
need to act like aggressive dogs to get our point accross.
